In 2020, Oman Hotels and Tourism Company SAOC has taken a strategic decision to upgrade and expand its current facilities in its Desert Nights Resort. This is to ensure that the needs and expectations of our guests are met whilst supporting the growth of Tourism Sector in the Sultanate of Oman.
Desert Nights Resort is located in a very quiet and luxurious resort camp in Arabian Desert with 53 Bedouin Style Tented Suites designed, using a unique combination of traditional Arabian furnishing and contemporary styles. The resort offers state of the art amenities with amazing view of the iconic landscape of Wahiba Desert.
Desert Nights Resort caters variety of activities which the guests will absolutely enjoy. These include camel ride at sunset, dune bashing and dune bike riding in the Wahiba sands. The location also offers an amazing view of sunset or night sky, perfect for stargazing.
Apart from increasing the room inventory from 53 to 88 rooms including 6 deluxe plunge Pool cottages we also added a new SPA, operated by an International SPA operator (Mandara). The enhancement of property also involves with the transformation of the existing restaurant to a luxurious modern design with additional seating capacity. The upgraded restaurant will serve our guests with amazing buffet and delicacies from local and international cuisines whilst they can enjoy the picturesque view of the mountains and scenic surrounding areas. Furthermore, the kid’s playground is also another addition to the existing amenities presently available.
